Beginner’s Guide!

Hello!

I’m Flipper 4437, If you are new to club penguin this is a guide that can and will help you with the basic stuff you should know! First off, getting started: after the tutorial that automatically  pops up when you first log on, you will be placed in one of the rooms here is how to quickly change rooms!

Click the map at the bottom left corner of your screen

Then this should pop up

click on any of the circled rooms and you will automatically get there. the one circled in green opens a list of penguin’s igloos you can visit

now…  you may notice some penguins sitting , or dancing. this is done by clicking on the little blue penguin on your chat bar

this opens diagram of actions your penguin can do.

some of you might not know how to get a pin, and heres how, its really simple, but first if you dont know… a pin is the little picture on the left upper corner of your penguins playercard, to get a pin your just click on it and your penguin should walk on it , once that is done it will ask you if you want to pick it up, click yes, pins are free and any penguin can get it. heres an example

this is what it looks like, in this picture , the pin is a cupcake, pins change about every 15 to 20 days, they are hidden in different spots in different areas. now for your penguin, when you first log on you won’t have the penguin name you wanted yet, don’t worry, your penguin name has to be approved for use on club penguin, and will usually show up in the next couple of days or sooner, but the name your penguin first has is called the penguin ID , its the letter “P” for Penguin followed by a bunch of numbers.

To change your penguin’s clothing all you have to do is click the item in your penguin’s inventory like this

now, it’s important that you remember that only members can buy clothing but non-members can still wear free items  and buy penguin colours and backgrounds

newspapers and postcards , click the newspaper or postcard in the top left hand corner of the screen to read the newspaper or send or read your postcards , well i hope this helped you and good luck on cp!
